So alot has happened since September 29th, I don't remember if I had said anything about working at channel three, but I do. I now get to put the news on the air. It's great, Our male anchor is so funny, our female anchor is kinda dumb, but whatever. Plus it gets me in the business of tv/movies, which has always kinda been my ambition. Acting would be ideal, but I think I would be just as happy either directing or writting. I have met the guy who does all the voice talent for any company that goes through Fisher broadcasting. His name is Craig, for those of you who don't know, for news stations anyway, is to read the pst and bumps. The pst, or pre-show tease is the part that plays before the show, for example, on our show the pst goes something to the effect of "Tonight on newswatch three" and then he says stuff about some of the stories we will be running, and then he finishes it off with "and now, from the team that brings you more no wait news, newswatch three." Then the bumps are are just what we play before we go to commercial break. Usually it goes something to the effect of "Next on medical watch, blah blah blah" or "Comming up, blah blah blah, and later, some sports teams do stuff, sports is up next."

So, that is what has been going on in my working life, as for my personal life, I got the best Christmas present ever. It all started about three or four months ago, when my mom heard about some pregnant lady through a mutual friend of my moms and this pregnant lady. This lady, Wendy, already had two kids and was a highschool dropout, so she had decided she wanted to get her g.e.d. and go to college. She really didn't see herself doing that with a new baby. So on December 16th, one day before my little brothers birthday, I got a brand new, newborn baby sister. If I had a scanner I would show you the picture I have of her, but just know that it sits on my keyboard, so that's I can always see her. I was slightly sceptical of the whole situation when my mom told me about it. You see, I am only nineteen, but my little brother is also sixteen, so, It just seems like she should be getting ready to get rid of her kids. Not so much get rid of, but, not deal with little kids. I'm sure you know what I mean. Also the fact that I will be one year younger at nicoles, my sisters, highschool graduation than my mom was at mine. in other words, my mom was forty at my highschool graduation, I will be thirty nine at nicoles. All things aside though, I held her for the first time on the eighteenth, the day after they brought her home from the hospital. Now, I have a brother ten years younger than me on my dads side of the family, but when I saw him it didn't have the same effect as when I saw Nicole. All of a sudden I knew why people had/wanted kids. I never really wanted any, but now I feel myself wanting to be able to have the feeling of being a father some day down the road. All that aside though, she's the cutest baby alive.

Oh, and I got a portable DVD player from my grandma for Christmas, and the fuckin thing craped out on me already, the screen went all freaky on me, so now i get to return that, but oh well.
